  • Three main sights in a day, no more. A fourth turns the day into a march between car parks. Here they are the Grand Egyptian Museum, the Giza plateau, and a felucca on the Nile.
  • Bring the passport or ID you booked with. Domestic security asks for the original — a photocopy is not accepted.
  • The museum is booked for opening time, ahead of the coach groups. Flying is what makes that possible without a 03:00 start.
  • Dahshur is not on this trip. It is on both two-day versions and on the private flight day.
