  1. Collected from your hotel before dawn for the short domestic flight to Cairo, where your Egyptologist meets you with a welcome drink. The morning is the Giza plateau: Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure, the Sphinx and the Valley Temple beside it. After lunch, the Grand Egyptian Museum and the complete Tutankhamun collection. You fly on to Aswan in the evening.
