Know before you go

  • This is a shared departure: the programme runs in a fixed order and the group moves together. You cannot reorder, add or skip a stop — that is what keeps the price at this level. Our private Cairo tours change freely.
  • Three main sights in a day, no more. A fourth turns the day into a march between car parks. Day one is the museum, the Giza plateau and Khan el-Khalili; day two is Saqqara with the Serapeum, Dahshur, and the Citadel.
  • Bring the passport or ID you booked with. Domestic security asks for the original, and the hotel needs it at check-in.
  • Prices are based on two sharing a twin room. A guest travelling alone pays a €35 single-room supplement.
  • Flying saves roughly eight hours of vehicle time across the two days, which is what buys the Citadel on day two — the road version ends at Old Cairo to make the drive home.
