Do I need to be able to swim?

No. You step in from the jetty into calm, shallow water, and there is a life jacket for anyone who wants one — floating face-down is enough to see the reef, and plenty of guests never stray far from the jetty. Tell the guide if you are not a confident swimmer and they will stay near you.

Do you pick me up from my hotel?

Yes — pickup from your hotel and the ride back are both in the price. We collect from hotels in El Gouna, El Quseir, Hurghada, Makadi Bay, Safaga, Sahl Hasheesh and Soma Bay. Give us your hotel when you book and we confirm the exact pickup time; you are dropped back at the same door the same day.

Can I bring children, and what do they pay?

Yes. Under 5s travel free and 5–11 year olds pay half the adult price — the guest picker works it out as you change the numbers. Tell us their ages when you book so the seats, the vehicle and the equipment are the right size on the day.

The house reef is reachable from the beach — great for non-swimmers with a life jacket.
About 25 km north of Safaga, 40 km south of Hurghada.
The bay lies inside the Naqa Bay hotel. Its old wreck is now on the beach, not in the sea — there is no wreck to snorkel.
