A guide in your language

We work in English, German, French, Russian and Arabic. The difference between a company that speaks your language and a company with a page in your language is the person who answers when something does not go to plan — the evening before, on the road, and afterwards.

Tell us the language when you book. It decides which guide is assigned, and a guide who is fluent rather than approximate is the difference between a day of facts and a day of stories.

Why book direct instead of at the hotel desk

At reception you are booking with an agent who does not run the tour. With us the price is per group rather than per link in the chain, and you have the same point of contact from the first message to the drive back to your hotel.

That matters most when something changes the evening before — wind, a start time, the number of people. You settle it with the people who planned your day, not with whoever is on the desk.

No shopping stops

Papyrus 'institutes', perfume houses, carpet workshops: a cheap excursion price is recovered out of your time. Our programmes carry no forced shopping stops, which is why a day with us finishes earlier than the same day booked elsewhere.

How a booking works

Pickup is at your hotel, at a time we agree rather than a time a fleet decides. Payment is by PayPal, bank transfer or card. Changes go to the same person who planned the day.

If the coastguard closes the port — which happens, and is nobody's decision but theirs — you are moved to another day or refunded. Ask any operator that question before you book rather than after.

If you want to compare

Ask every provider the same three questions: do you run this tour yourself or pass it on, who collects me, and what happens if the boat cannot sail because of wind. The answers separate operators from resellers more reliably than any price list.
