Abu Dabbab, south near Marsa Alam, is one of the few places on earth where you can snorkel over seagrass meadows grazed by green sea turtles and, if you're lucky, the bay's famous dugong. It's a long but rewarding day: the bay is a protected nature reserve with shallow, calm water reachable directly from the beach, so no boat and no strong swimming are required. Two snorkeling sessions, a beach lunch and all transfers are included.
