An early start is the trick to a good desert day, and this three-hour buggy safari makes the most of it. You're picked up around 8am, driven to the buggy centre for a briefing and a few practice laps, then you head off — roughly 25 km across the open sand to a Bedouin village. In between it's pure off-road: dunes up and down, changing terrain, and the adrenaline of driving your own buggy.
